Sometimes you have to throw caution to the wind.
I started this by just pouring paint. Then I slowly poured layers and layers of color, with some areas protected, until this painting came out.
This is a watercolor/acrylic painting, on 10x14 inch watercolor paper.
There are many reasons why this is a wonderful painting to me. I like that it is an experiment that worked the first time. I like that the colors are unexpected for the subject. And I like that it feels loose and spontaneous despite the many layers of work slowly built in.
This piece is unframed and unmatted. It will be shipped, well packed, via mail, unless you request another method. You will also receive a certificate of authenticity.
