I enjoy the art deco lines and festive colors of Fiesta ware pottery. It's a great challenge for subtle shadings. On Saturday nights, a Mariachi band practices in one of the buildings in my neighborhood. The sound fills the street with cheer and I can't help but smile and do a little cha cha to my door. I did this drawing in their honor. This is drawn on 8 x 10 archival rag board and sprayed with workable fixatiff to seal and protect.
