Sisterhood of the firstborns
Three sisters, two tribes, separated
sharing one heart forelorn.
suddenly the sunrisehand it rays shine on all
oh how thrilling, a glorious surprise
each one part of another
gathered now Three strong none to fall.
I have two half sisters (though I never refer to them as such), each shares one of my two parents and all of us are the first born to someone. It is hard to imagine my life without the two of them. Each of us is so completely different from the other two, but I like to think that all of us enhance the others. They are such an intergal part of my reality, separate, equal and each carries the love of all of my heart.
This is an original oil painting and is 22x20 on stretched canvas. I chose to do this in an alternative cubist style one in which concentrates more on how things are related and connected on to another, that the traditional cubism which concentrates on the subjects from every perspective.
