Art: Lilith by Artist john christopher borrero
According to Hebraic myth, Lilith was Adam's first mate. Although on some levels they did well together, they eventually met with friction when Lilith proved not to be a passive obedient woman.

Famously, they did not get along sexually. Adam tried to force Lilith to lie beneath him in the missionary position during sex, but she refused. She was winged, and she didn't like lying back on her wings.

Despite an intervention by God, and a brief reconciliation, they ended up going their own ways... Lilith to live by the Red sea and Adam to live with God's next creation: a more agreeable and passive Eve.
