A little different for me - this is actually a sculpture!

This is a WORK IN PROGRESS - ie, still in development, not available to the public, not for sale, project is still under discussion, you are the first people to ever see this, and so forth......

I just wanted to show off one of my new finished painted figurines for one of my favourite projects so far with the Hamilton Collection. If things go well, we'll be attempting to re-create my painting "A Gathering of Faeries" (one of my personal favourites, I must add) in statue form! And (it's hard to tell in the photo) - her skirt is really sparkly/shimmery!

- so you can see it will be quite an endeavour creating all the figures as statues! If it progresses, the collector would get the whole setup with all the characters. AND (since it's kind of a personal favourite of mine) we are (tentatively) trying to figure out the logistics of having it as a signed edition (ie, I sit down and sign them in person before they ship to you). We'll see!

No promises, just thought you might want to see one of the things we're working on today! =)
