I've been going thru some rough times dealing with a baseball sized cyst on my oavary, pain in my abdomen, not knowing if I have cancer, and trying to get health care. I just want to go surfing! Surfing and the ocean can be very metaphorical about life. I'm trying to stay positive and believe that things will get better soon. It reminds me a lot about swimming against the current and that is what inspired this piece.
