I started creating these images under glass for the upcoming Christmas season. It took me awhile of experimenting to come up with ways of combining paper, polymer clay, certain glues, jewelry findings,solder, special papers and other images - that all worked together.

This particular pendant is made from two cancled 29 cent USA stamps of Olympic athletes . One side has a ski stamp and the other side is luge stamp. I think these are the 1992 Winter Olympics based on the stamp price, but have been unable to confirm - mainly because I don't know much about stamps. I just like them for their artistic value. But at the rate I am going with these, I may be an expert in yet another unlikely subject before long.
