I often comb thrift stores, garage sales and flea markets looking for items to include in my mosaics. I started making these mirrors with a lot of costume jewelry found at a flea market and some lots off of eBay. They are my newest obession.

This mirror was inspired by pinkness. I threw anything pink I could find its way until the pieces all came together. This mirror was part of the 2007 "Pink Week" art show in Sacramento, CA

The jewelry pieces (earrings, watches, pendants, pins, necklaces and chains) and other findings were embedded directly into the mastic, leaving no need for grouting. The top flower is made of glass petals and a jewelry finding that I have no clue what it was used in.
