Art: Goldie by Artist Virginia Ann Zuelsdorf

This painting was inspired by my wolf-dog Goldie, our miracle girl. She was found running across a highway. My husband thought he hit her with the car. She was unconscious in the road. He picked her up, put her in the car and she proceeded to sit up and lick his face. We already had 4 dogs, including two huskies and couldn't afford another.

She came home to our pack. As soon as she howled we knew she had to stay.
