Yet another in my vignetted landscape series. This painting always puts me in a peaceful, thoughtful mood when I look at it. Living in Florida makes me miss those cold grey days back in Wisconsin where I grew up.

I believe that the process of making art should be apparent to the viewer. This painting started out as a piece of canvas hanging on my clothesline. I was experimenting with painting edges and throwing paint and water at the canvas and letting it drip. Thus, my series of vignetted paintings began.
