This abstract painting is an original created this week at my studio. It was painted on a piece of canvas which was crumpled and "dyed" with paint. I did a lot of scumbling. This is using a large brush sideways with very little paint, which hits the high points to emphasize the texture. I have glued pieces of painted canvas to the background. These pieces are from trimming another piece which I am currently selling on Ebay, called "V in Red, Yellow and Blue", The placement of the pieces, types of strokes and the positive and negative spaces are my way of speaking to you, the viewer.
