Cattails of the Northwoods (GIFTED)
Just got done with this one for a "Cattails and Flowers" exhibit. There seems to be an "old world" sentimentality to my paintings - dark, at times foreboding. This scene was out of my head but I've seen it in nature many times up here in the Northwoods. I like to move fast when I paint/sketch, trying to capture essence.
