A striking combination of realism and artistic impressionism with soft hues of blue, cream, and brown depicting a lone nest of robin's eggs. Although simple in composition, the combination of the nest, single egg alone in the foreground, and abundant sky provoke a range of emotion from abandon, freedom, to a sense of new beginnings.

Media: The Scout was painted using professional artist grade acrylic paint on a museum quality gallery wrapped canvas with painted sides to allow for display without a frame. Painting was finished with a light coat of varnish.
