This piece was very exciting to make. My thoughts were wanting to deliver a passion. I wasn't happy with the results. So it sat there for a few months because it was " missing something ". Then it hit me it needed more red, lots of red, and it needed a reason for being, so i added a key hole and that created a reflection of self understanding. It sold the first day it was hung in my exhibit in November 2009.
