This TURTLE DOVE SANDWICH is a one of a kind Critter Creation by my 10 year old son. The Dove is sewn from a shimmery, stretchy white fabric and lightly stuffed. The beak is painted yellow and the eyes are painted silvery gray. The shell of the turtle part is painted with dimensional acrylics on a dark green felt. The under shell is a light green felt and the two shell pieces are hand sewn together with the dove sandwiched between. The under shell is initialed kf and dated 2008. This one of a kind stuffy is my son’s entry in January’s Nibblefest Art Contest, a themed art contest beginning on the 20th of each month. This month's theme is a combination of two animals, in this case a turtle and a dove.
