This mixed media collage is a one of a kind creation by my 10 year old son. FERRETS ON THE MOON is an 8 x 10 inch original on illustration board. These multi hued ferrets were colored with prismacolor pencils, cut and glued to a moonscape background cut from several different wallpapers. The entire piece is sealed with matte medium for durability. This one of a kind artwork is my son’s entry in February’s Nibblefest Art Contest, a themed art contest occurring each month. This month's theme is rodents. We realize that ferrets are not truly rodents, but since these ferrets reside on the moon, maybe they can pass as space rodents.
