The Mouse eared Chickweed likes sunny locations and almost any type of soil. It grows to a height of about 1' 1/2" and the seeds are a favorite of sparrows and other songbirds. It seems as if everything in nature has a purpose. Even the lowly weeds serve as a banquet table for our bird population. This plant is from Eurasia and not a native species.
