This little baby Cardinal has been hanging around the Black Eyed Susans in the front yard. Normally our Susans are the luncheon feast for the Goldfinches but times are hard even for the birds. Just possibly the Cardinal got tired of his free diet of sunflower seeds and peanut butter suet. Anyway I liked the way he looks hovering around the flowers.
