I know that a nautilus shell dosent belong at the Jersey shore....but it is a bit of artistic license that I have allowed myself when working on this mosaic. Besides I love Nautilus shells. I kind of figured that now would be a good time to do a few more mosaic pieces since things are at a slow down in the economy. Could not even begin to tell how many hours each small mosaic takes to create. It sort of becomes a kind of meditation when I am working on one of these pieces. Actually I am not sure that I could ever part with one of these since the investment of that precious comodity of time is huge. I will be in big trouble if I ever discover a better source of colored papers since that is probably the largest stumbling block when working on a paper mosaic.
