This particular weed seems to like full sun along roadsides. It isn't a native species and belongs to the pea family. It flowers from June to September. One of those little flowers that you just don't pay much attention to unless you see it up close. It has a pretty butter color and makes an interesting addition to tiny boquets of wildflowers.
