This seems to be one of the most serene cats I have painted...she is just perfectly content...as a matter of fact I can almost hear her purring when I look at this piece. Little Kitty always manages to park herself somewhere close to me when I am working so of course she is the perfect model. I am always amazed at the positions that a cat can take but the most appealing to me is of course their preferred sleeping curl up. This piece was done in watercolor and pen and ink on Arches 140 lb hot press watercolor paper.
