I was feeling very empty and confused about a serious relationship that I was in at this particular time that I created Moi. It is a self-portrait. I studied myself in 2 mirrors and gestured the my body on the canvas first. I then decided to use blues, because that was the color of my emotions at the time. I used Prussian, Cobalt, Cerulean, Phthalo, and Burnt Umber, Paynes Gray, and Titanium White. I left raw canvas to create space and emptiness. SOLD
