Clownin' Around Town is a commissioned painting that will be hanging in an office. This was a fun painting for me. I haven't drawn a clown since high school and it was my first one painted in oils. I decided to incorporate buildings in the background because the person commissioning the piece owns a contracting business that builds commercial buildings. He is also a golfer. I then decided to include that as well and make it a very personal painting.
