She has asked that I include the following information. 1. process - this is beadwork, stringing (ie. necklace and beads as mentioned above) 2. what made you choose your subject - I had a lovely pendant with a wild bird on it 3. It is also important that you include the type of wild bird that is represented in you piece. - as this bird may or may not be the fictional imagination of a Chinese artist 300-400 years ago, nor am I an expert of Chinese birds, I cannot even venture a guess. I simply hope the sheer delight of this piece does not get bogged down by tediousness.

I'll tell you what...the first person that can tell me what kind of bird this is, and VERIFY that claim, I'll send you a free pair of gemstone earrings. ;)
