When I saw this brass filigree, I immediately thought 'peacock.' I've a sneaking suspicion that's what the designer of the piece intended, but regardless, I set about inventing a beaded tail it. I used matte peacock green, matte silver-lined violet, and silver-lined turquoise seed beads, plus graduated sizes of fuchsia Swarovski crystal beads. The pendant's about 2-3/4" long. I used the same beads to make the 17" strand. I LOVE peacocks, and they feature often in my designs.
