This beautiful pysanka was made in the traditional batik wax and dye process on a real blown turkey egg, which is then sealed with several coats of protective, crystal clear finish. It measures approximately 3 inches tall.

Another design scaled down to fit a turkey egg, originally done on my very first rhea. I call this design 'Midnight Flight of the Dragonfly'. When I look at this egg I imagine a mystical time where dragonflies come together at night to partake in a secret dance, lit only by the stars!
