The graceful Easter Lily (lilium longiflorum) has long been a symbol of Easter. It's white petals suggest the purity of Christ and it's trumpet-like blooms akin to Gabriel's trumpet call to rebirth and resurrection.

The etching on this Pysanka turned out exceptionally well, the white veins of the petals are distint against the pure white petals. The four medallions are surrounded by bands of stars and crosses.
