Naughty Absinthe Fairy

Art: Naughty Absinthe Fairy by Artist Sherry Key
"Naughty Absinthe Fairy"

They have two faces...one is "glamour," to lure you in with their fake irresistible charm. The other...real face, is naughty, selfish, and they are only in it for their own guilty pleasures.
"Absinthe Fairies" are very strange little creatures, and they tend to hang out with very strange human beings. Unfortunately most of these fairies succumb to the very drink they seduce us with.
Absinthe, the green ruin, the green fairy, is an anise-flavored spirit, became popular in 19th and early 20th century Paris. The "Absinthe Fairy"... poets are seduced by them, artists, and writers alike.

Colored pencils and graphite pencil on Bristol (sturdy like cardstock but made for artwork).

ACEO's are very collectible baseball card sized artworks. I collect mine in albums (see other photos), game card boxes, and in cute little miniature frames. They are also great for gift tags, gift boxes or baskets.
