Watercolor, Gouache, Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils, and Micron Pens, This is my submission for the June Theme Week - "Under the Sea" but with a unique twist....

This little fella was once a land hamster but due to circumstances beyond his control, had fallen into the ocean where a nice mermaid gave him a wish... to be the King of the Mer-Hamsters. Of course, Darwin *could* do that because he is the first of his kind! Here in his habitat, he proudly fans his tail to display the beautiful colorings that was given to him as gift. So next time you're out scuba diving along the coast of Papua New Guinea, watch for this little guy, he may just fan his tail for you!
