Sara enjoys painting, assemblage, working with fabrics, beads, found objects and plain old junk.

Inspiration for her work include books, music/lyrics, faces, crows and the paintings of well known artists of the past such as Gustav Klimt, Frida Kahlo and Marc Chagall.

She lives in northern Michigan with her family which includes a dog, two cats, a finch and twenty-something chickens.
