
Wisteria Dreams
Wisteria Dreams has many 3-D details. It is very large and dramatic. The size is 2 feet tall and 4 feet wide.
I recently photographed a lovely wedding and the day could have been more perfect. The wisteria was absolutely breathtaking. I knew when I returned home, I must paint wisteria! The painting took nearly two weeks to complete because of the detail and thickness of the wisteria blooms. I painted about half of this painting with my fingertips. This includes every inch of the wisteria, the faux patina and the silver leaf.
The back ground is soft and breezy. Painted in light warm blues and metallic hints. Three dimensional full lavender wisteria blooms have a slight patina and are highlighted in pure sliver leaf. The leaves are several shades of carefully selected greens, pearls and gold color. A handful of iridescent and some translucent dragonflies dance around the wisteria.

This is a gallery wrapped canvas with staple free edges. The sides are painted in a light satin blue. Two extra stretcher bars through the back for extra support. This painting is coated in a high quality artist varnish to retain its original beauty for many years to come.
I only use Professional Golden Acrylics and Organic Mediums.
