Time for my unique holiday balls. 2007 Spiral Ice Dragonfly Ball -different shapes and sizes of small medium and large loose pearls beads -crushed pearl, crystal and purple sapphire micro fine cut glitter -micro silver satin glass beads -iridescent pearl blue painted mini dragonflies (the blue is invisible unless the light hit’s it just right” -clear glass beads This is certainly one of my most interesting dragonfly ball creations to date. It looks just like a perfect jeweled spiral of icicles. This was created over several days of layering different mediums and waiting patiently for it to dry before starting to form the next layer. Each one is complete different than the next with the exception of a similar design for the 2007 theme of the collection. Each ball is hand painted and decorated by me. If you can find a ball spinner will really set these balls off! . Every ball this year has rich colored hand painted dragonflies and adorned with special elements like micro glass/metal beads, antique red leafing, pure silver , copper and 18/24 kt gold leafing, white sand, micro cut hologram, crystal glitter, crushed hematite, crushed pearl dust, micro satin glass beads, and feathers.
