Orchids and Dragonflies....two of my favorite things painted together in a abstract watercolor on canvas. It's quite a unique look and very soothing. The colors are sap green, burnt umber (deep brown), red, ivory, small amounts of magenta and yellow for orchid detail. Dragonflies are painted in metallic bronze(only a small handful of dragonflies) as well as some bronze for background highlighting. This is a gallery wrapped canvas with staple free edges. The sides are painted in a warm watercolor green to match the front. Two extra stretcher bars in the back for extra support. This painting is coated in a high quality artist varnish to retain its original beauty for many years to come.
