"Lazuli Blooms"
The painting came to me from a dream after reading a poem "Jewel Tree" by Don Blanding 1929
Is is painted with my original "slurry" recipe that I create to make my canvas work like watercolor. Resin is added and feathers, clear sequins and metal balls are encased in the painting. A set of naturally deceased dragonfly wings are on the middle canvas.
The sides are painted in satin black.
