Dragonflies In Bloom A new abstract to be included in my “Florals” series on my new website www.thedragonflyartist.com for 2008. “Dragonflies In Bloom” is created as an illusion of ancient artwork. The watercolor bloom is my own dreamy cerebral hybrid of a lovely plumeria and oriental stargazer lily. The stamens are represented as to white and golden pearl 3-D dragonflies. This painting is very detailed and will change color depending on the light in which you view it. It’s quite textured and covered in several layers of gloss varnish to protect the metal. This is a new direction for me as an artist. The canvas panels will allow the collector to frame and mount to your own personal liking. Frame/matte/mount are not included, only the original art. This painting (as many of my others) will change in different light from the special paint I use. This is a wrapped canvas panel. This painting is coated in a high quality artist varnish to retain its original beauty for many years to come. I only use professional Golden Acrylics and mediums.
