Art has always been an influential part of my life. My Father was an incredible self- taught artist and watching him create was such an inspiration for me. As a child I began to explore my own creative talents. In the fourth grade I was selected to create a Christmas Mural on the wall in my elementary school not realizing then that I was an artist. I was just doing what I loved best!
Unlike most artists that concentrate their art on a particular subject matter, I am drawn to creating my art through feelings , movement, and color. I don't set out to produce art about one subject or another.
My work is an exploration of the irreducible act of mark-making which delves into the connectedness of the real and the abstract by creating a conversation between color and texture." The mind creates, the body accentuates.
