In classical music the double bass player often spends long periods waiting for his part - so this pose is quite typical. I found a battered old musical score of Bellini's opera 'La Sonnambula' (The Sleepwalker) at a car boot sale (garage sale?). Not worth rebinding, I liked the feel of the paper and decided to do a series of musical images of which this is one. Also available as an 8 x 10 print and as a greetings card
