Art: A Ghost of Who I Was by Artist Natasha Bouchillon (Formerly: Wescoat)
This piece represents the envy and pride. There is that feeling that arises when one reminisces on the individual that they believed to be "back when". The envy of some "standard" of what they always wanted to be like, seems to be lost, and therefore in their pursuit to regain that person they used to be, tend to stumble and fall short of that....and cause problems for them as well as those around them.
