"Balancing Masculine and Feminine" represents the descent journey from the head to the heart to harmonize and balance our own inner masculine (intellectual) and feminine (emotional) principles. In Tantric Kriya Yoga practice, this significant event takes place in Swadisthana Chakra, the home of our sexuality and unconscious emotional memories, whose element is water.

When this second energy center is blocked, there is havoc in relationships with others and/or with ourselves. Kundalini is unable to rise up the spine and our Tantric practice becomes "stuck in the second chakra." When we have balanced these energies within, then love and harmony will inevitably follow in our outer world.
