This painting reminds me of a celebration - hence the name! It looks like femine figures celebrating different points of their lives and the spirals are like the cycles of life. The figures look young and old, but also close and far (past and present) - so it feels like it shows time with age and distance. Like most of my paintings, this was not planned and I noticed most of what I'm writing here after it was completed.
