This was a fun painting to paint. Most times I can find a meaning in my paintings after completion. I saw this one looking like jewels coming through and around her face, which has the look of peaceful intent. I personally feel that our intention is very powerful and can bring about anything we set our minds on. Here is an example of putting the intention on positive, colorful life filled creations. As far as the technique I used here, I tried layering with the paint, starting out more dull and then bringing out more color and light.
