"Exotic Red Iris"

This Floral Abstract was inspired by a gorgeous deep red iris I recently saw at the Botanical Gardens of Norton Art Gallery. I was captured by the depth of color and range of hues and had to try an put it to canvas as soon as possible, so as not to forget the delicate essence of this flower. It is quite exotic and draws your attention to it's presence.
