Neil Gaiman is one of my favorite bloggers as well as being one of my favorite authors. I few years ago a stray dog bounded into his life and he named the dog Cabal. In Neil's blog entries, he includes many photographs of his life and there were several of Cabal and him out in the snow which inspired this.
