I did a rip of Terri West's "Poppies". The prospectus said that this is supposed to perhaps be a pun of the "sacred" original, but I don't believe I'm poking fun in any sort of way, nor have any witty message. I just saw it and had an epiphany (oh, there's my pun :-) that I should do my own version because I liked hers. Oh, and because Terri likes red.

I simply printed a copy of her poppies from the web site and began painting my own take on it. Support Art!!!!!
