Art: Royal Cauldon Lazy Susan (Sold) by Artist Laura Winzeler

Quite a burst of color, no? A stunning Royal Cauldon "Dorset" dinner plate served as the focal point and as part of the outer rim. I added some of my other very favorites: Taylor, Smith & Taylor's "Marney"; Meakin's Sterling Renaissance; and some good old Homer Laughlin. It is grouted in antique white and painted on the edge and underside in Tapestry Wine.

The susan measures 14", is handcrafted of sturdy MDF (medium density fiberboard) by a wonderful man in upstate NY, and is sealed to protect the grout from spills. SOLD 1/08.
