Our Cannas come up year after year in my yard. I'm in the desert so they don't last very long and if the wind hits them, they last even a lesser time. I caught this one early one morning with my digital camera, fresh before the elements could work on them.
It was shot with a macro lense and prints best on fine art photographic paper with a matte finish. It caught my eye as it was such perfection and I appreciated it's beauty in a rare appearance in our dry climate, as it's really a rather Tropical flower.
