This is a piece I ripped off from Erika Nelson. The challenging thing for me on this piece is the mixing of colors and using small brushes - with much detail. I don't paint small and detailed much any more - but used to some time ago - I usually use straight colors out of the tubes on my acrylic paintings, but on this piece I mixed and mixed - and thank goodness for zinc white! The verbage on this piece is as follows:- the female centaur is saying" Honey, please don't go that way!!! I heard that there is a glue factory doen the road!!! - and the Male Centaur is saying, "Don't be silly darling, a man/centaur always knows the right way to go without asking for directions..." - and the cherub says- "Hey, horseman, listen to your wife! Oh, and could someone help me with my hand - it seems to be stuck!" - I thought it was funny - Thanks Erika, this piece turned out a little more tame than what I expected - I hope you enjoy - I am swapping this artwork -
