I grew up on an Indiana farm, so riding horses was a part of my life. In this painting, I stepped back in time to relive those wonderful memories of jumping on my horse and imaging I was off on a magical adventure. I used acrylics to create this painting, sponging on layers of paint to create a textured background. I also used many layers of color to create the circles which are the hills. I added my signature curly tree that beckons to the young rider. SOLD
