My daughter dressed as a lion for Halloween when she was about 5. She wore a hooded lion’s mane and would not take it off hardly at all for the next year…even in the summer. She is now 21, but I can still see that little girl with the lion’s mane growling at people when we took her to the zoo! She inspired me to paint this piece
