'Jennifer, being yankee born (philadelphia) was mostly raised in the Southwest where she feels most at home. Unfortunately she doesn't live there anymore, but still drives inspiration from traveling back to her ‘home state whenever she can. If Georgia O'Keefe can get inspiration there, well so can Jen! (and has!)
Her medium of choice is – anything really! She likes being creative and taking on the challenges of anything that brings on the expressive feelings
inside of her. She is an avid photo taker, toting around her Nikon D70 wherever she goes (because you just never know when that perfect picture taking moment will occur!). Using her photos whenever she can, and sometimes from talented friends, she creates her works. Her fine art paintings are collected and sought after all over the globe.
Jennifer is not only a fine artist, she has a degree in Graphic Design and marketing. With these talents, she has illustrated and published a children’s book with her mother, the famous Susan Redstreake Geary (Teddy Bear artist) and also illustrated in numerous other publications. She is a designer for Flip Video and has also designed for companies such as RoseArt and Peachtree Playthings. Jennifer would really love to get into more projects illustrating children’s books, however. This is one of her future goals.
Jennifer works full time as a web/graphic designer by day, but by night (and on the weekends) she paints whenever and wherever she can! She goes to an occasional show, but if you want to find her works to buy, just peruse this blog or visit her
website! Jen also loves to travel and teach painting classes, loves to attempt to play guitar, is a total food snob and coffee connoisseur and is addicted to eating skittles. (hey, the colors are inspiring!)
Jen resides in a small railroad town in Tennessee with her 2 neurotic black cats, her trusty dalmatian Molly, her awesomely talented guitar totin’ 14 year old son and twin 6 year old boys who like to be creative right along side her.
